OK, I am going to be spending money on my car twice in the near future. First time off I am spending $2500. Second time $1000-1500.

My current combo is: forged 306, cobra style GT40's, F303 cam, cobra intake, 24# injectors, 65mm tb, proflow maf, unsure of clutch, 373's, boxed stock uppers and lowers, pretty worn eibach drag launch kit, shorty headers, offroad H, and flowmaster 40's.

Problems: Clutch catches way too high. Need an adjustable quadrant. no subframe connectors. stock rear end cover. still using the stock tach. tranny grinds second and third a little tiny bit. needs new paint (someone key'd it up) passengers door lock got popped and they stole the radio. It also has the stock fan.

Parts I am definitly going to buy: adjustable quadrant, steeda full length subframe connectors with torque box supports, ford racing 5" tach, rear end girdle, upper and lower control arms, and a new drag launch kit. I am also buying a used set of ET streets mounted on turbines really cheap off of a friend.

I also baught a set of good condition MAC long tubes for 50 bucks, and am going to buy a prochamber soon.

Here is where I want you guys to spend my cash.

Plan 1: rebuild the stock tranny (I will do it my self) buy a 150 wet kit and EVERYTHING I will need to go with it. Also get some nice shocks while i am at it. get an MSD with timing retard, and get custom chips with a 2 or 3 way selector burned.

Plan 2: Buy a tremmec or geforce tranny and everything needed to go along with them.

Plan 3: roll cage, tubular K member, and pretty much all the typical suspension mods to really make the car hook, and lower weight.

plan 4: new Cobra R hood, fresh paint job, new wheels (not that there is anything wrong with my cobra r's) and possibly a few other apearance mods.

Which of these do you guys think I should go with? Do you guys have any recomendations on something I may have missed? I am also thinking about porting my heads too. I am really undecided and think I may be leaning towards plan 1 or 3. Not to sure, because I REALLY want a good tranny.

Plan 5

Get the Tremec, nitrous, and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Skip the hood and wheels and get the car painted. Nix the chip and get the MSD. Score the struts and shocks when you do the springs, you'll have it all apart anyway. if you want, get the tubular A arms too and do it all at the same time, then go get an alignment. In my opinion, skip the tach and just get a good shift light.

THEN, with those slicks in mind, replace the U joints and get a driveshaft safety loop, with slicks you'll need the loop at the track.
