Im buying a 1995 mustang gt with a 5.0 it has 240,000 miles almost and it runs good. The owner is my girlfriends dad he bought it new. It needs a little work the interior is kinda real dirty, for some reason the door locks dont work which i was hoping you guys can help me. The car has an intake i have no idea which make, and an MSD ingnition. I thought i would never be buying a ford but for a first car i cant pass up the deal 2000 and i pay whatever i can afford a month so its real good. The paint it has a little rust spot on the roof, and some paint peeling by the wheels, and the hood has like a braw thing because he rearended somebody and kept the insurance money. Since my family has been with gm for my whole life i plan on learning a thing or two about the mustangs. What does a stock 5.0 Gt run the quarter? My dad had a silverado runing 15.6s and my cousin has a SS cobalt runing mid 14s i was just curious. Thanx and i hope to enjoy this car while it lasts.

Need a little more info.. Is the car a 5spd or a auto?? Motor ever been re-built? By intake do you mean a cold air intake or an actual upper or lower intake manifold?? I'm gonna venture out and say you'll prolly run in the high 14s or low 15s depending on track conditions/driver/ and all the other factors I listed above.

Thats a lot of miles man. I think for 2k you may be able to find something a little more reliable. How old are you?
