Hey Im buying a new 408W short block for my 88 LX. Im thinking of buying from dynoflo.com. They have great prices and I like the customer service (I talk to the owner Scott). Has anyone had any interactions with these people? Im getting a 408 all forged shortblock with blower dish pistons and main studs for 2670 delivered to my door. I know its only a 2 bolt main block, but thats all I can afford right now. Im planning to run all my parts off of my 347 on it including the intercooled 600b Procharger. I know Ive got to get a new lower intake, headers and oil pan. Will my MSD distributor work on my 408. Do you guys think this block will be able to handle my SC @ 10 to 15psi with a good tune? Thanks guys

The best way to find out if they are scumbags is do a fake call and tell them you bought an engine from them and the block cracked. See what there reaction is. People are real nice when your thinking about buying their product but once the sale is over they basically tell you to go F yourself.
The only place I have never had a problem with is Astro Performance in Florida.

That P600B is way, way to small to feed a big Windsor..... What year block is it? The late model 351 rollers are not that much stronger then a latemodel 302.

Dist, oil pan, intake, fuel rails, and a few other odds and end will not switch over.

What brand internals are in the motor?

As far as the brand of internals, the crank and H beam rods are Eagle and the pistons are Probe. The block is a mid 70s with a 2 piece rear main seal. Does this sound good?
