I'm looking at picking up an extra set of 8" Welds for the back of my 90' GT for street tires. I'm wondering about going with a 4.5" or 5.5" backspace.
The tires I'm getting are 255/60 R15's.
Right now I'm running with M/T Street ET's(26x10.5) with 5.5" backspacing, but the tires come pretty close to my inner fenders and exhaust, so I'm wondering if 4.5" back space is better without having to fold in my fenders.
Any suggestions?
