Bypassing heater core, hose size?

Ive tried searching, I know a bunch of people have done this, I just need to know what size hose it is thatll slip over it. Do they sell the hose in the shape of a u at like discount auto? Thanks guys.

Oh and when i take the hoses off, what do i do with them? What are they connected to? do i need to plug them? pull them off? etc.

I used a piece of copper pipe (the one that came off the core when I pulled the hose from the core) I think it was a 90* and I clamped the two hoses to it. If I recall correctly the two hoses were 2 different sizes.

Wheres the Best place to get a Replacement Heater core with flow reducer....I need to put a new one in

I think most people make a flow restrictor

The heater hoses are 5/8" & 3/4". You can get a stepped hose fitting from Home Depot to join the two different size hoses together.
