I put in my new C&L 76mm MAF and true flow tube on today and WOW, it's a very noticeable differnce, that stock 60mm was really holding my combo back.

I'd post a pic but apparantly i'm no longer allowed to post attachments.

Impossible.
C'n'L are junk, only a ProM will result in positive gains.

BTW, stock MAM is 55mm's.

And, oh ya, I'm very satisfied with my C'n'L too.

are you positve about 55mm, because i believe i heard that for 90 it was a 60mm, but that was only what i read on this board so who knows,,,,not me :)

all i know if this new MAF is breathing great, NO LIE, there is a very noticeable power improvement, of course with everything else i have done the MAF was the last remaining bottleneck.

Next dyno day around here i'm there.

Ok guys help me out here. I want a c&l 76mm kit for my car but I have a moroso cold air kit, and from what i've heard you can't have a 90 ell in front of a c&l. So how do you work that out? I see they make a kit for the 4.6 with a cone filter and a shield but for the 5.0 all they sell is the inlet pipe and mass air. I don't mind getting rid of my moroso kit if I have to, I'll just throw a filter on the mass air, but their has to be a reason for the shield.

Not to turn this threads to something that its not but wait to you actually do some more mods to your car and see how you like the C&L MAF then. It may be o.k and problem free with a relatively stock motor but Pro-M is just more precise with a modded motor.

I'm sorry but i think i have a few mods lol.

As for the C&L my instructions mention that if you have an open filter then recommend having a shield to keep the fan wash from affecting the maf, i have the stock box with k and n filter and removed silencer which is exactly what they recommend.
