c+l meters....

Depending on what type of induction system you have whether it be the stock black rubber tube or an aftermarket one you have to be careful. I've found that C+L meters are a little touchy. So hope this helps:
1. Make sure that the meter is calibrated for your injectors.
2. If there is a bend or elbow BEFORE the meter, try indexing the meter. Basically try turning the whole meter clockwise, so the actual sampling tube is on the side instead of on top.
if that doesnt work......
3. Pakage the C+L up and send it back. Go to www.jdsperformance.com and pick up a 80mm Pro M.

I had same problem with C&L as soon as heads and cam went in. Ok with intake, TB and 1.7 rockers though. Changed sampling tubes each time I changed injectors, kept getting check engine lights also.

I have Pro-M 75 in car now, have used 77 also, but couldn't pass visual inspection on smog test here in Calif.
I am very happy with the Pro-M, only hassle is having to ship it to recalibrate it if you change injector size later on.
Have heard lots of people very happy with the C&L, mine is in my friends '88 GT w/ 4.10 gears, TB headers and it runs great.

Im having the same problem only mine doesnt die, it just idles like I have a cam. My car is stock and I put a Pro-M 75mm calibrated for 19lb injectors. I bought it used and it worked fine. What do I need to do to make it run better?

I had the C&L Mass Air kit with the cast tube from the TB to mass air. Whenever I would take off the mass air and put it back on it would not always run correctly. By changing the angle of the pipe it would run properly.
