I need to see or get some ideas from those of you running a N/A motor in the fender CAI,that have a 90mm throttle body and 90mm MAF also please state the size of your pipe and where you got it and used. i'm thinking of useing whats pictured below after i cut and weld it back together OR buy some 4" exhust pipe? The stuff below is 5" and i have 2 pieces the same lenth and design.peace

i just use an AFM 4" powerpipe, pretty simple, If it was me i'd stay away from using that 5'' pipe, seems a little big, and its going to dwarf the throttle body.

BTW be careful with your nuts around pipe that size

cobra dustin your right! i wounder why they say 90mm then when it measures 4"? in mm thats like 102/105mm. so 3.54" is 88.5mm. i was thinking the same thing that 5" is just to big and bulky looking under the hood. i'll go look for the AFM pipe. got any pics of it? peace

got everything from ebay. 3.5" system, pieced it together for right around $100 for everything including silicone elbows, pipe and K&N filter. i modeled it off of one of the AFM power pipes because i couldn't bring myself to pay $180 for something i could build myself for cheaper. if you decide to build it yourself like i did, you can get everything in a 4" diameter for the same price.

I just installed an Anderson powerpipe for my blower butI had a JLT before. Making something is hard to do but very possible. I agree that pipe is too big.....

We have used the 4" intercooler tubing kits from ebay for around $100. We have also mocked up what we needed and then went to the local exhaust shop and bought 4" exhaust and had them do our bends(our shop has a mandrel bender and not the crappy kind like most exhaust shops use).

just-intercoolers, the people i got mine from on ebay doesn't carry it, but you can get them on there from other companies. here's a few...

here's one EXACTLY like mine except in 4"
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4-90...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

a nice polished one...
http://cgi.ebay.com/4-102mm-OD-90-D...ts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item360126056270

another nice polished one but shorter ends...
http://cgi.ebay.com/90-Degree-4-Pol...5|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318|301:0|293:1|294:50

cheaper mandrel bent exhaust piping...

as far as the silicone elbows, just type 4" silicone elbow in ebay and you'll get tons of hits.

You really don't want to run an open element in the engine bay. You will be sucking turbulant hot hot air. Put it in the fender, or box it into the fender opening.

i know thats the only thing i dont like with it there. i might go today to a turbo fab shop here to get a couple 4" silacone elbows plus a 4" piece of pipe so i can run it into the fender. i've heard it's better to NOT put the filter right to the MAF? if i go to the turbo shop today i'm doing the set up like cenok is family did.peace
