I have an '06 GT 5-speed and I have finally got the mod bug from reading all the stuff you guys post on here.
Two weeks ago, I went to the Brenspeed site to order a C&L street CAI and SCT tuner after reading all the great comments regarding Brenspeed. While I was on the site, the mod bug took over and I ordered the following stuff to go with it:
Steeda underdrive pulleys
Steeda 3 Point Frame Rail/ Torgue Box Brace
Steeda Strut Tower Brace
Steeda Ultra Lite Springs
The Frame Rail kit and Strut Tower Brace showed up last week and I had a friend of mine put the stuff on since I don't have a welder and man, was I surprised at the difference just these two things make. I expected the handling to improve, but what I didn't think about is the sotp difference in acceleration and throttle response I'm getting now. It's night and day.
Now I'm really looking forward the underdrive pulleys and CAI!
Has anyone else installed these frame rails and noticed this big difference in throttle response? It's amazing!
