CAI vs MAF vs Shaker system?

Wich one is the best or could u get all three?, i know Shaker system is like $390 to use with the GT hood, but what would u guys recomend if not shaker? yea is it even possible to use the CAI with the MAF?, thx guys obviously im clueless haha

so ur sayin just do the MAF? what size would u recomend n would it work with a shaker system? what gains would i be looking at ?

The shaker hood adds little to no horsepower. It is just like the hoods on 98-02 SS Camaros they are to far back to pressurize the air charge.

do the MAF and a plenum if you're looking to do intake mods...could see 8-10 hp

the original poster said it costs $390 for the Shaker with the GT hood

... shaker mainly just for looks IMO.. but I wouldn't mind puttin one on my GT

Get a MAF if you're going to choose one of the three mods. It will add more power and that's the ultimate goal!

what is the difference of a MAF and a CAI. they look similar? i was just placing and order for the MAC Kit part number 3296

if you want to WASTE 200+ dollars on a near stock gt buy an aftermarket MAF. there are better boltons for the money.
