Calling All Rear Suspension Gods!

I don't take issue with engine swaps if they are done because that's the engine you like and you slap it in a different brand of car you like. Sounds like that is what you are doing, so I personally don't take offense.

I do however take issue when people start suggesting they do the swaps to save money or it's cheaper. I just don't believe that's true.
Figure my 03 cobra engine is worth roughly $6500, makes around 500rwhp and 500ftlbs of torque. How else would someone get those numbers cheaper from another manufacturer's engine?
I'm a fan of the ls2 and ls6, but without a heads/cam/intake swap you aren't going much past low 400's at the wheels. If you put a cam alone in one you can get it to around 440rwhp. A top end kit is $3500 without the intake tb or other supporting parts.

Dudes ride is pretty impressive, but im not a drag race guy... and while its ok and he can pull big numbers and get down the track with that lil 4 pretty fast... The sound part of it just wouldnt cut it for me... Ive never been impressed with the turbo 4's... Besides theyve been done to death, as have the SBF, SBC, LS swaps... there are hundreds if not 1000's of them running the roads... im not knocking their builds but its just not me... I dont want something that there are 100's of on the road... throughout all my google searches i can only yield roughly 40 or so examples of a 2JZ swap mustang, most are coupes, some are hatches, but damn few actually began life as the top of the line GT's... Once finished this build will be quite rare if not down right unique, thats what im after in the end... INDIVIDUALITY!

I am under NO illusions its gonna be cheaper... LMAO i looked up a stroker kit for giggles and they are like damn near 7K... JDM engines are pricey as hell... but the 2JZ sounds mean as hell spooled up...
