i recently purchased a bone stock 93 fox. i have installed shorty headers and h pipe, and underdrives. i have a steeda #18 cam to go in. my question is, do i need to change anything else when i intstall the cam? such as bigger injectors , maf sensor cold air, i just want to make sure i am not hurting the motor at all being as there are onll 60000 on it. any help would be appreciated.

i would rip the heads off and have them sent out to have valve springs to match the cam install along with a valve job. a lot of people will tell u to stick with the stock cam because the motor is stock. u will feel a difference but u wont get the potencial of the cam unless u change heads and intake.. if i was u, if u want to put the cam in i would do heads and intake also? if u dont to buy new heads, i would put new springs in the sotck ones and at least buy an intake to make a difference. your injectors and maf are fine, u might want to get and cai also

would the gt40 p heads and intake be a good enough up grade? or should i look into something else. i have the lower gt40 intake off an explorer and am in search of the rest of the parts. good choice for the cam?

gt-40p heads will be an upgrade but you will still have to upgrade the valvesprings for the cam. might want to concider thumper ported heads. they flow better than gt-40 and p's. www.thumperoforangepark.com. gt-40p have to have specal headers because of the plug angle. id say to buy the trick flow top end kit. includes everything without the guess work for $2200. your choice!
