Ok i'm looking at going with a set of thumper ported E7's with my Tmoss intake. My question is regarding the cam i know Thumper recommends the E303 cam for AOD Stangs. I'm wondering what other options i would have here to get some more power out of this set up. I have heard many good things about the Anderson Ford Motorsport cams but im not sure which one i should go with if i go that route. I also know with certain cams i would need a high stall TC, and have currently located a 2800 stall for a decent price. Just looking for options right now as this is going to be my winter project.

the E cam makes pretty good power i would highly recommend it, as well as the higher stall convertor with an AOD. anywhere from 2,500 to 3,000 should work good as long as a 3.73 or 4.10 gear is used. as far as aftermarket cams though to get the best bang out of a street driven AOD car keep your duration at .050 under 230 or you'll need to much gear and convertor to make up for the soggy bottom end with the ported goodies. i would run the e or a similar comp such as the 264 Xtreme Energy.

i've got an anderson n-412 cam with my thumpers and cobra intake. even with a 10.3:1 a/f, it put down 256rwhp/285rwtq and pulls damn hard. great cam, i would highly recommend it over ANY alphabet cam. i had an E cam in my old coupe with a 312ci, gt40p's, an eddy performer RPM intake and all supporting mods. my current setup pulls harder

Cenok - Thats kinda what i was hoping to hear, about how much did you pick up that N-412 cam for?

I do have 3.73 gears on the car as well, and was looking at the E cam because i wouldnt have to change my TC but i found one for a good price and am thinking i would want a higher stall anyway so i might as well get a better cam.

With the N-412 cam i wouldnt have any clearance issue with my 1.6rr's ?

i got mine off ebay for like $230 shipped. afm sells them for $299. you shouldn't have any clearance issues but i'd get some plastigauge and check anyway. what kind of pistons are you running? i have aftermarket pistons so i didn't have anywhere near any.
