Can I run an E303 or a B cam in a speed density car without having to convert to mass air?
Sorry for all the questions...I'm looking at a rebuild and I'm trying to decide to just keep it all stock or convert to mass air and go with a better cam. Budget is way too tight to do that, but I need to get this figured out.
I've got a practically free set of E7 heads, so I think I'm going to clean those up, use dished pistons, and decide what to do on the cam and be done with it. I just want a nice, driveable Mustang, one that will get me from point a to point b, and where I can take it to the track once or twice a year, make a few passes, etc. without worrying about tearing it up.
One more question...what kind of rings would you guys use in my situation...moly or cast? I know they came from Ford with moly rings.
Thanks so much for your advice...just want to do this right.
