CAM Question

The exact amount of lift, measured with a dial indicator, will make it a lot easier to figure out.

That's like a fat guy telling you he doesn't know how much he weighs, or a short guy how tall he is. They know exactly how much they weigh and how tall or I should say how short they are, LOL.

I bet it is a stock CAM, because if they put something fancy shmancy in it he would be bragging about it. Also you hardly ever put a more aggressive cam in during a rebuild and not compensate with matching valve springs, so did he tell you what springs they used? Are the heads stock?

Many guys bolt on the Performer intake and the MDS goodies, doesn't mean they upgrade the guts, pistons, con rods, rings, etc, etc.

+1, when I introduce myself, its always.... "Hi I'm Tony, I run an ed curtis custom cam"

if you have a dial indicator and degree wheel you can measure the duration and lift...

Wont tell you exactly what one but it will give you the same idea of how high performance it is or isnt...
