cam recomendations...

hey i am looking for a cam thats powerband is like 2000-6000, whats a good cam, and what are the best places that sell Hyd roller cams??

also, whats the power band on the B cam??

why 2000+? wouldnt you rather from like 1500+? 1200+? 2000 is pretty high

The Comp Cams XE270HR camshaft has an 1800-5800 rpm powerband....it has a nice lope to it too

Why doesnt mine lope at all? this is bull**** you are the third person that says their lopes, i buy one and it idles like stock..... . Anyways the TFS1 is a good cam so i heard, the b cam is ok but isnt as good as other ones out there, Comp is good so is Crane, or you could try AFM they have some bad ass cams i dunno just throwing out stuff...

I guess its just preferance...it could have a less desirable powerband

FWIW, I have the e-cam and don't like being anywhere near 2000 rpm. I went from a 3.73 to a 4.10 (much better) a few weeks after getting it. Very nice top end charge though. It could have been degreed but I'm planning a new engine anyway. XE270 is the most likely candidate.

I got the TFS1. I havent taken it out on the road yet but it sounds real nice.

What do you have your idle rpm set to? If it's 800+ rpm you won't hear much of a lope. Mine usually sits around 700-750 rpm or so.

mine is about 650-700rpm and it stil dont "lope" like everyone says, i just dont understand.
