cam / rocker combo.

hey guys. ive got a problem. i have a 93 cobra with an e-cam and 1.7 r/r's. has anyone had a problem with this set up? i recently bent a valve and i'm in the process of putting my car back together and i want to avoid this happening again. so i was thinkg of using a different cam or 1.6 r/r's. but unfortunatley i am on a budget and am trying to save a little money. so if my current combo is okay, i will keep what i got.

Change your valve springs and seals!! Measure to check if you need different length pushrods.

How high of lift are the stock valve springs good to? I bet you stacked a spring.

well, the thing is that the springs aren't stock. they are a crane aftermarket. the dude who redid my heads that the head set up is ok for the lift of the cam but said there may be an issue with the piston to valve clearance.
