cam selection help

i am going to buy a cam to get me till next winter when i can build a real motor. just something to make my summer a little more fun. wondering if the e cam would be a direct bolt in i dont want to change my rockers for this either if i can help it. i am thinking of getting an intake to but cant decide which one yet. any suggestions? so far i have a 93 lx 5 sp. motor is all stock other than full exhaust, no cats, underdrives, ac and smog delete. and a cold air. have 24lb injectors to go in with cam and intake also.

i am running a b-cam with 19# er's and it is a blast to drive. a much needed improvement over the stock H.O. cam

I have never used a B cam but I used the E-cam and I prefer the stock over the E-cam, especially when you're using stock heads. Other cams might do better than the E-cam.

I would use the e-cam with a cobra intake and a set of used heads (edelbrock performers) if you're just trying to get by. I have both and had the same set up and had fun with it. contact me if you're interested

Don't waste your time putting a cam in a stock motor. It won't help performance unless you AT LEAST have an intake, and preferably upgraded heads as well.
