well i have my cam in.but i ran into a problem when i was putting my thrust plate bolts in i stripped them. should i get them at ford or a harware store.also when i removed my old cam i noticed a nick in one of the cam bearings.would you replace this bearing or not.

If you can get them from Ford, do that.
Plan b would be to get some grade 8 bolts, the right length, and grind the heads thinner. They have to be thin to clear the cam gear, and if necessary, you could mock it up and make sure they are clearing.
