of course, as you know, you do not get the performance gains to justify the amount of money spent. just a cam probably will not net you any horsepower and if so, probably not much. it will also have to be a very mild cam especially if you want to run stock springs ( some guys say you can , some say change them ). also, your stock computer will more than likely not like the cam change ( ie. surging, stalling, bucking ). some 94/95 guys get lucky with the computer and some dont. several guys have done a swap to a A9L fox body computer for better idle quality and manners ( our stock computers are supposedly better , just require more tuning ).

not trying to discourage you from camming your. i also want to cam and intake my 95 but i know my gains will be minimal with my stock heads.

some things you will need was posted above. also might want to consider a new waterpump, especially if you are still running the stock one ( probably time for it to crap out anyway ). good time to change out the harmonic balancer if the one on the car is coming apart. as said, a timing set & gasket. wp gasket. maybe new lifters, might want to ask other guys here about that. surely you can use your factory rockers. springs?

cam swap may soften up the bottem end so a steeper gear would counter that.

which cam was you thinking about going with?

well i figured i would probably have to get a chip. i would probably just have jet burn me one. if i could get better performance with just a cam id go with a ford racing setup but since it sounds like im going to need more so i was think of trick flow's twisted edge kit with the valve train, heads, and intake manifold. id probably have to bump up to the 24lbs injectors too.
