Camaro ss vs. Mach 1 vs GT

So we finally got all the cars together, MACH 1, CAMARO SS, MY GT CAMMED, AND A STOCK GT!!. We all went on a little cruise and the three of us lined up (minus stock gt) at a light. the whole time were talking crap to one another and da light finally turns green and the ss gets the launch, my car bogged and then took off, the mach 1 spun all first!!! We kep going anyway and the ss didn't take the lead by much(1- 1-1/2). I think da main reason for that was due to the fact that my 2nd gear pulled hard thanks in part to the cam and gears and the mach 1 does breathe better at top end. i did beat da mach 1 though!! It was unfortunate that we were not all able to get a good launch!! Hopefully we can line it up again soon and this time everyone is paying attention!!! I must say though, when we were on the freeway and the ss and mach 1 took off it was head to head the whole time (i was right on their a$$ the whole time, couldn't get next to them cuz there was another car on da third lane) so i think i did pretty good against cars superior to my gt (kinda)!!!

Yeah, I can understand. It's just that today all these people dying from racing is a million times more common today than 20 years ago. I never heard of that stuff back then. I'm not saying I did'nt race, but it was far more rare with all the dying.

If i had to give a guess i would say that the slp maro should be running mid 12's. That means i think he is going to take the cake. I hate to say it. Maybe you could shave a bunch of wieght out of your car for the 1/4 mile. Don't forget to remove your front sway bar. Get rid of jack and spare and even maybe rear and passenger seat. If you have stereo equipment yank that aswell. Inflate your front tires up to 40 or 42 psi. I like to stage shallow in the staging lane. Maybe take a little air out of you rear tires. If you are running street tires don't do a big burn out. that actually hurts you.
