I don't see drips or anything. Is that a feetamo paint job?

You know, I just now got it.....
Must be all of the paint fumes - it most definitely is!

I knew someone would catch it eventually. It really doesn't look bad. I zoomed in on your pictures. I saw your big drip, but other than that i don't think it looks bad at all for a garage paint job. Especially a first time garage paint job.

Thanks! You really have to be fairly close to see most of the rest of the blemishes. As long as I can get that big oops taken care of, I'm going to live with the rest of it.

I don't know why it took me as long to figure it out before I did, but I think the reason at least some of the other blemishes are in the paint is due to the garage heater. I turned the ceiling fans off but left the heater on and it basically points directly at the car. Another lesson learned the hard way....

Well that was a bust! Went out and tried to take care of that run and ended up burning through the base coat in a couple places. Too aggressive I guess.... so there will be some touch up in that area.

Plus side-that’s the easy part now as long as you still have materials left over. Coincidentally, last time I did that-I got a set of“Sporty” side stripes

Also..Remember…. Anything below the “Belt Line”. Most people will never notice-

Spent the weekend repairing that huge run and reassembling the car. It's almost all back together - was reinstalling the third brake light when the lens fell apart. I'm currently waiting on the epoxy to cure and think I'm done until later today. Going to go to bed for he morning and try to finish it up before I leave for work tonight - with any luck I'll be driving it to work. You know, the whole reason I bought the damned thing!!

I noticed a long sag in the paint on the door while I was putting the right front fender on too. That was from the previous repaint, so I think whatever blemishes it has now will just blend in with the rest of the car.

Oh, and I splurged and bought a spoiler for the trunk lid and installed it too. I actually got one like it for the vert if I can ever get this far with it.
