Well since both are very pricey what would you buy first cams or longtube headers. Which will give better performance overall. Only mods I have are a CAI with tune and JBA axle back. Also which will give the better sound. Any info would be great. Thanks.

In my journey with this stang my long term plans were to add bolts ons each complementing the next move. cai, tune, 4.10 gears, long tube headers, and finally cams which were just done last weekend.

Long tubes are gonna give it real throaty tone. I even have hf cats and its still very loud. My quarter mile times improved by 2 tenths after LT install. Now with the detroit rocker cams its even louder. Possibly too loud. I will give it a few weeks to decide. The new power is there, will be racing Sat night to see if there is any improvement.

Here is a clip of my idle.

Long tubes will let you get more out of the cams. So ultimatly you will prolly want to do both.

Agreed.. I feel like you can't really pick one. Now if you're going to do just one now and the other later on, I would probably do the LTs first and the cams second.

Yeah, I'd do LT's first and cams later.

Go with headers first. They are a performance part that stays the same regardless of future mods, you may want to change your mind later on about your final power goal and if you do cams first then you wasted money.

Id go with LT's. They both are going to give you a lot of horsepower.. Cams obviously a little more, but surprisingly not much more. But if your spending about the same price to do both and install both, LT's arent going to make you lose mpg. Something to think about. Now then again cams just sound and are bad ass, haha. So either direction you go you wont be disappointed
