Can a stock gt hold 6-10lbs of boost?

i know what you mean. i really want to push mine over 450 but i'm scared that it will let go on the dyno!! i just dont want to trash my heads b/c i plan on staying 2v, but if something does happen i have a complete 4v setup just sitting in the junk room right now! i'm still using tims tune right now. it is leaned out all the way so i am hoping taht even with 12 psi i will still have enough adjustment to get everything right!

BTW what tranny and rearend setup are you running??

Im running the stock T-3650 with a spec STG 3 clutch....stock rear with 3.73s. I HOPE this tranny lasts a while and I HOPE my rear doesnt go when I take it to the track on DRs lol. I do things reverse from how I should...make LOTS of power first and replace everything else later :rlaugh: .

WIth full adjustment, im not sure it will hold 12#s...im also not sure if the fuel pump can keep up, if not you can go with a GT40 pump :D . If all else fails you may just have to drive to Tims....

"DARN honey, looks like I have to get my car tuned....I was about to go buy you that camery too! Guess we may have to put it on hold for a bit longer :( " :rlaugh: :rlaugh: :rlaugh:

you have a LOT more faith in the stock stuff than i did. i built my rearend before ever bolting slicks on. i would have stuck with the 3650 a little longer if i didnt run across such a good deal on the viper t56. i thought that the 42's and focus pump would handle up to 500 hp? i could still use a BAP if i run out of fuel. i really dont want to drop the tank again unless i'm putting a cobra one in! if the mongoose tune doesnt work i guess i will let a local shop tune it for now. when i get the built bottom end Tim will be the only one to touch the tune!!
