There's a guy local here who has a red LS1 camaro with silver shelby stripes on it. Supposedly he just put a STS turbo on it a little while back. Im hoping for a chance to run him.
It depends on mods, mileage, condition of the car, but the range for an average Cobra (around here at least) is between 25K-27K. At dealerships they are closer to 30K.
I had one guy in an LS1 cambird come to me at the Friday night races... he asked if I wanted to race with him... I start laughing and say "By the time I hit 2nd gear, you'll be at the other end of the track"... He had a Supercharger and I think I noticed it was also on the bottle!
all Im saying is I know what the ford motors can do and have done Its not like we have anything to prove.The ford mustang has been in every race event and has come out on top evey time so I dont know way the world thinks of G.M. as being far better then ford,all im saying is Im dame proud to own and drive a ford mustang no matter what eveyone thinks.

you should have run him. LS1's have horrible detonation probs and dont respond well to boost and spray at the same time. my money says he would have snapped at least 3 pushrods and that is if he was lucky.
i dont see how you miss a gear. ive never done it.
i dont understand what you mean b like you so to shift into 2nd and get in 3rd some how? or just like the trans is missing the gear? some explain please
My foot was faster then my arm at that particular moment. It diddnt grind gears it just diddnt go in. Its kinda hard to miss a shift on a lawn tractor so i dont expect you to know the full structure of it.
