6 psi KB blower
4:10's
K&N FIPK (will it work with the KB?)
2 Chamber Flows cat-back
here is the kicker: stock mid pipe.

I am tired of living in fear over not having cats, and am unsure if just throwing cats on my prochamber is a legal solution here in NY. Most people tell me i will be able to pass emissions with the pro chamber, but then every once in a while I will run into someone that says I wont. So, any way I want to make sure I can get into the 12's with stock pipe on. My feeling is that the power will definately be there and it will be more of a driving/traction issue. Im going with the 6 psi kit because a) I have 4:10s and b) It should be really safe for the stock bottom end, and I should be able to get on it when ever i want without having to worry about the engine blowing up. Or, at least worry less than I would if I hjad the 9 psi kit. The blower pulley can always be changed, and I can always add the intercooler later (like when I get a completely forged bottom end)

With some sticky tires and good driving, 12's should be no problem

If your goal is only 12's screw the kb blower. 4.10 or 4.30 gears, bolt ons, et streets and a little suspension and you got a 12 second car. If your getting a kb, go ahead and get a 9psi intercooled kit so you can get 400-410 rwhp, and have a goal of running 11's

Ive got the 4:10s already, thats why I only want the 6psi KB. If I understand you though, I should have no problem getting pretty deep into the 12's with 6psi KB and my 4:10s. From what I have seen on these forums, I would think that if I put the car on a diet and run the KB with my 4:10s,learn to drive like a champ(right now I drive like a chump) and get some traction I may be able to get into the high 11's?

Well you're Jesus aren't you? If you can walk on water, you should be able to make a mustang go 12's

You better get either a 27in sticky tire for the rear. With a 26in tire and a blower, you'll probably run out of gear in 4th before you cross the traps.

Yes, 12's are very possible on a combo like that. As for the prochamber, I run a prochamber with mac hi-flow cats and have no problem passing state inspection here in Va.

Good to know (about the Pro Chamber/Cat combo) How much are the Mac Cat? I looked on there site a couple weeks ago and didnt see them listed there. If you have a part number that wouuld be great. Also, do i need cats with fittings for air hoses or not?

Man my goal is getting into the 12's N/A. If you can't get into the 12's with that setup-you don't deserve to drive. Go for 11's!

Can an automatic 96 Gt Convert with a KB, torqueconverter, gears, drag radials, and exhaust get into the 12s.
