Can I get the 2 for 1 special please??

I want to have rear disc brakes to compliment the front powers that will eventually go in as soon as we find a donor car. But I also need a new bigger rearend. I wanted to know if I could possibly kill two birds with one stone and pick up a 9 inch rear with disk brakes still on the car. If, which car has a compatible rear end for the 65 and had factory discs? Is this possible? I just don't want to spend 1K on rear disc. Thanks

the only factory 9" that came up with disc brakes was the lincoln versailles. they are getting harder to find, i have one for sale but i thaink it's already spoken for, pm me and i'll let you know what happens

Ditto on the Versailles, but also add the Monarch's and Granada's, the disc brake 9" was an option in them, so pays to check them out too. The first "Versailles" rear I had came out from under a Monarch.

What years should I look out for that will be a direct bolt in or require minimal altering? Thanks again
