Can I just load the pro-m for 24# injectors in my maf transfer?

You can do it with either.
If you have the actual flowsheet from Pro-M, that would be best.
BAsically, open your calibration, enter the MAF information, and then change the injector information to whatever is in your car.
If you use the J4J1, enter the same values in both (since YOU have 24's and the J4J1 has 24's already, you won't need to change the injectors...), If you use the T4M0, you have to do the Hi/Lo thing....

This is right, but I THINK he is saying he has a Pro-M calibrated for 24's...
Either way, enther the values the MAF is calibrated for...(again, a flow sheet would be best. Do you not have one?)
 
I have t4m0 and the maf is calibrated for 19# but should have been calc'd for 24# since I have 24# injectors..they #$%^'d up and send me the wrong part.. So I guess I change the slope to 24 using the t4mo and enter the flow data. What's the 30pt for? I still don't know what that is and my flow table only has 9 values on the sheet even though the caledit interface takes 10...dunno if that matters.
 
I was reading some of the other forums concerning this and they say that they just hook up the pro-m and go. No need for changing slopes or anything. For example, if I am using my t4mo computer and 24# injectors and my maf is calibrated for 24# injectors, then I shouldn't need to change anything in my tweecer. I should be able to just bolt it on and go. Is this correct?

Also, why is there a different one you order if you have cold air induction vs stock induction?
 
You CAN do this, and it'll run, BUT your load values will be farked up, and probably lead to too much or too little timing at the wrong time. The Calibrated MAF works great for Fox cars, but our cars use load based calculations, and load comes from the MAF values.
It'll work, but it would be better to put in the MAF values.

Ok thanks man. Last question..does anyone have a link to a wiring diagram for the stock MAF sensor telling which color wires are which and why it matters whether you are running CAI or not or how that effects calibrations?

I have basically got to decide between 2 meters. I bought a granatelli 75mm MAF..they sent me a 90mm but at least it is calibrated for 24# injectors. It has no spec sheet but can use the original wire connector that came with the car. Says it is calibrated for CAI too.

Brothers sent me a new 75mm MAF that is properly programmed for 24# and has a spec sheet but has a different connector that has to be spliced into the old MAF wiring. Doesn't say if it is or isn't calibrated for CAI.

From my research, the CAI apparently creates air turbulence which messes with the MAF. With that said I have the granatelli 75mm calibrated for 24s (no airflow sheet) and CAI and it seems ok. When I first began using the TwEECer I used the ProM24 in CalEdit to get started. I left the injector slopes stock (24.8379) and adjusted the MAF to the slopes. I tried changing the slopes but with no luck so I went back.

From other posts I've seen the 90mm would be ok as long as it's calibrated for 24s - it provides room for growth (i.e. supercharger, turbo).:shrug:

Personally, I'd send the incorrect MAF back for the correct one (cal for 24s), use the j4j1 tune and go from there.
