Can I make the EEC power only one cylinder?

I really didnt know if this belongs in 5.0, 2.3, Off Topic, or wherever, so here I am.

I have a side project going that involves turbocharging an engine with only one cylinder. I looked all over online for info on DIY EFIs, but found nothing useful. I already have a few injectors out of an '85 Merkur and figured I could use the electronics as well. Does anyone know if the Ford EEC can be modded(cheaply) so only one injector is controlled?

I can get just about the whole car if I want....

Batch fire huh? That does simplify things.

Yeah, the Megasquirt was about the only thing that ever came up when I was searching. Even $150 is more than I wanted to spend, though. I was looking at the Ford stuff because I could get it for little more than free. I found out today that the (only)junkyard car I had in mind is gone, so thats a bust.

Thanks you two.

Wait, now I'm a little confused. Are all the 2.3L injectors run off the same set of wires since they all fire at once, unlike the sequential V8 injection?

If you unplug an injector on a V8, you get a CEL and who knows how the computer reacts.

Another question, does the (2.3)computer trigger the injectors events based on a signal from the distributor?

Actually, cylinders 1&4 are fired off pin 58 and 2&3 are fired off pin 59. They are triggered through the ECU by the distributor PIP in earlier cars and CPS in distributorless cars.
