Somehow........I stripped one of the bolt holes while I was mounting the pressure plate to the flywheel!!!!!!!
This is for my T5 conversion with a 10.5" clutch. So metric bolts M8-1.25
Is it ok to tap it out to M9-1.25 and put a helicoil in????

Of course.........one frickin bolt is stopping me from mounting the clutch, putting the bellhousing on and dropping the motor in the engine bay.

Thanks guys!

My flywheel is setup with helicoils right now. No one told me that the late model T5 flywheel uses metric bolts. Now mine uses SAE. I had a machine shop do it for me but if you feel confident that you can make that hole straight then go for it.
