Can I use regular vacuum line for this?

I just got done hiding all my engine bay wiring. Ive relocated the EGR vacuum solenoid to inside the passenger fender, this is the solenoid with green and red hard plastic vacuum lines to it. I now need to route vacuum to this solenoid and i would like to keep it out of site and probably run it through the firewall and behind the dash to the passenger fender. Could i accomplish this with regular flexible vacuum line? Im worried that by using the softer type of vacuum line it may collapse under vacuum beyond its capabilites. Any input would be appreciated.

Regular vacuum hose will be fine.
