Can U Swap Intrument Clusters w/no issues????

I would like to swap a 99/01 Cobra cluster in my swapped 2000 GT. This way the redline matches my engine and I have white gauges. A guy I know has one local that he wants to sell me. Can I just hook it up or does it have to be programmed for my car from Ford? I know from taking out my cluster before when it's rehooked up and the key is turned on for the first time, the gauges all sweep min to max to calibrate themselves. So was thinking I couls just hook this one up with no problems.

i believe you have to redo some dash wiring, but I know of people who have done such without much diffuculty.

Thanks, I guess if I can rewire a 01 Cobra harness to hook to a 2k GT, i can do that. I wouldn't think you would though it has all the same gauges jut a diiferent redline on the face. I'll check my Ford service schematics to see if there is a wiring difference.
