Sorry if this title leads you to think this should be in the "talk" section, but I figured things would get pretty technical. Here is my current situation. Im running lean at 5500 RPM (mods are below) My fuel setup isnt much, stock lines, stock rails, a 255lph intank pump, an Anderson Ford in line pump, 50lb injectors, and an AFPR. I have Aeromotive rails ready to install this winter, Im wondering with the Aeromotive rails, and larger fuel lines to the tank If id be able to squeal out a few extra hundred RPM before I run lean. Im only wanting to rev this things to 6300, nothing insane, and Id hate to spend 2 grand on a fuel system just to get there. So i guess my question is, do you think Lines and Rails will help me enough to avoid having to buy a huge fuel system kit? Any tips or opinions are welcomed as im not to familiar with fuel systems.

I wouldnt run those aeromotive rails, the way the return is setup will cause the #5 cylinder to run lean.

I also think you should do it right, dont skimp out on the fuel system. Check out glenns performance, there a little more reasonable than the aeromotive kits

There are also alot of new products on the market for fuel pumps. Holley has some really nice, small, quiet and afforable pumps that i am going to be keeping a close eye on myself to see if they live up to the hype.

The thing with the fuel system is that if you do it right now, you will never have to replace it. My ideal setup would be the glens performance sleeper tank, behind bars race cars fuel rails to clear the stock dist, external regulator, and the black fuel hose. Not the braided stuff that is known to letting gas seep thru and stink like gas when the car sits

i was just using rick at rnh performance to set my car up for anything to 1000 hp.. i have my brand new system, i installed it but it's never been primed/used..

i will sell it to you for $500 less then i spent on it. pm me if interested.

behind bars race cars; sumped tank, fuel lab pump, all black an fittings, -10/-6 braided lines from tank to front of car, and both fuel filters. high quality parts.
