Figured it has been a minute since I posted a random project.
So here it is -2006 Dodge Charger RT
I got it in a buddy deal with a bad 5.7 . It would run,but not well/had been overheated to death.
So it sat around for a while as I half way kinda kept flip flopping on a rebuild or a replace. Then a smashed up jeep with a fresh reman 5.7 Hemi popped up on marketplace. As usuals-my trailer at the time was loaded up at a buddy’s,so I rented a U-Haul and picked up the Redneck Cadillac lol.
I Harvestwd the Hemi and Scraoowd what was left
Ignore my messy garage-I’d give excuse's as to why,but that’s mostly just how it is lol.
Then came pulling the engine in the Charger
I had to do a lot of swap over,so I went ahead and regasketed everything as well as new O rings/swapped the oil pump and pick up etc etc.
And Plumb Crazy Purple Paint cause- Hemi lol
Going in-
All in all,was not a terrible engine swap- car runs and drives. And has cleaned up really well. My oldest Son recently had a Birthday and is working on his permit- This was his Big Present-and he is super excited-
