As for the condenser well... You can't see that part in any of your pics.

Ford didn't but many of their vendors probably did. All those components were made by outside vendors. I remember s page showing no less than 5 companies contracted to cast the lower intake. All had different finishes and slightly different looks.
Could have also been replaced at some point.

I figured they would clean the engine bay prior to selling the car. Kinda tells the story of the vehicle looking that way.
With all the dirt, and the leaves trapped in the cowl to firewall seal, I would check that cowl area real good for rust. Also, I'm sure you know this but in case you don't...it has no back seat.
I was told it's a Florida Alabama car and is rust free.
Owner said he still has the back seat.
Be patient and consider also buying a saleen. Many are low mileage garage kept original cars where you won't have to spend any money painting or fixing.
Purchased right you can get in and out of a saleen these days without losing any money either.

I just saw this while cleaning the cobwebs out of the 'other' Stangnet office. I'm sure that this isn't perfect but it's more my idea of what a $10k car should LOOK like:

At a glance, I thought that should probably be more than a 10k car, then I expanded your post and saw that it was unfinished and had pro comp heads.
So i'm now a little torn on the value and possible future headaches and cost to truly finish it.

That plus the "1500 miles since being put together" but no mention of actual mileage makes me hesitate on saying if it's worth asking price.
Unrelated to the above car, but I think I'm starting to see on bookface that some people are just so smitten over these cars they are quick to inflate the value. Things are often overlooked that wouldn't normally be and give the car value based on a few gating items (notch, 5-spd, any interior other than red) and overlook the things that really bring value to a car (modded/restored with quality parts, vs cheap eBay parts)
I remember looking at a driver last summer. Decent paint, nice wheels, decent shape. Got there and nothing in the interior worked. Broken trim, windows worked poorly, hvac blend door broke (just left on heat). Owner didn't care because it looked cool and sounded awesome and someone would buy it because of that. He is probably right

I just bought an original paint Cobra for 15k. Still has all the VIN tags, all original upholstery. They are out there, just have to be patient and vigilant. I know now why you want Vibrant Red, it’s an awesome color especially in the sun!

I know a guy like this. Has a fox, posts pics regularly, talks about how nice it is, other people are drooling over it. One day I saw it in person, the inside was trashed, tons of trash in the paint, rock chips painted over, just a poorly done car over all, but people seem bright paint and nice wheels and that’s enough
