i bought this motor a little while ago and i beleive it came out of a early 90's truck of some sort, but I have no idea. It is fuel injected and runs off a serpentine belt. I need to get a flywheel for it and am trying to figure out whether or not i would need a 28 oz, 50oz or any other type of flywheel.

anybody know anything good/bad about the fuel injection setup that is already on there?

All 351s are 28 oz balance. You need to know what size bell housing you have, 164 or 157. Choose wrong and your starter won't line up. I have an extra 164. I believe 164 = 14.5in and 157 = 13.25in., or you can count.

well all 351W's are 28 oz. you would be corect its from a truck. the injection thats on it is crap, and probably wont fit under your hood anyways. there is a small chance it could be a roller block though, i think like 94+ maybe

well this isn't going into a stang... got my 347 for that. This is actually going into a competition rockcrawling rig.

so i need to find myself a 28oz flywheel, and would it matter if i used a 10.5" or 11" clutch? I need to find a ford bellhousing that has a bolt on slave cylinder somewhere, and im pretty sure those are all from trucks so looks like i might need the 11" but not sure

Hey, don't be puttting down my 351's injection system like that. It certainly ain't "crap". Over 130K miles and it's never failed to start cause it was crap. Runs strong too in my 95 E150, it ain't the fastest off the line, but the topend is terrific, still haven't found the top yet.Sounds great too after you remove the silencer, just like a good old fashioned 4 bbl.
