Can you see over your 4" Cowl ?

im seriously considering getting a 4" cowl. but i talked to my buddy who has a 4" on a his IROC and he says he had to adjust his seat up and what not to see over to the right side. is this a hassle for us 5.0's..

anyone run into any problems ?

Unless you need it for clearance, I'd say no.

Mine has a 4" that was on there when I purchased the car and I hate it. Taking right turns annoys me and it looks kinda ridiculous. 2" or less is fine imo.

ive got a 2 inch and itsj ust fine. 3 inches is the limit IMO. I had a buddy who had a 6 inch cowl on his 92 GT and my god, that was hell to drive and looked goofy as hell, especially from the interior. I currently have a 2 inch cowl but Im going to be going to somethingl iek a Mach 1 or shaker-type hood.....cowls just dont do it anymore for me :D

IMO i think the 4 " on my car looks awesome well actually when measured its about 3 1/2 but was advertised at 4". I have no problems but then again my front end has 4 cyl struts and springs so it sits a little lower in the front. But i'm actually switching to the Cobra R with the svo scoop because i think they look great on a fox body and i just want a change because i've had a 4 " for about 5 years now.

i have a 4 inch cowl hood, its not on my car now but when it was... it didnt block anything( i am also like 6'4). I think its badass looking when you have a huge hood sticking up.

I had a 6" cowl hood on my car (done by previous owner) and you really don't lose any visibility EXCEPT I could not see the passenger front corner of the car... gotta be a bit careful you don't clip anything there, but other than that it seemed good.
