After reading in the editorials multiple times that if you don't like all the 05 coverage and no 5.0 coverage to cancel your subscription, I did it. I just subscribed to Modified Mustangs because it's hard to find on the shelfs around here. Hopefully they keep up their coverage of fox cars..

i'm not renewing my subscription to mm&ff or 5.0 either. #1, it's no longer in my budget, and #2, yeah, there's not much fox coverage anymore either. i might look into modified mustang as well.

I just let mine lapse for the same reason.

Modified Mustang is my favorite Stang rag right now. They seem to feature something from each generation of late-models in every issue.

Yeah, i was not pleased at all with my 5.0 subscription. Especailly when the 05's came out, the magazine forgot about everyother model and focused soley on it. I really could care less about 05' interior upgrades and stuff like that.

I just got my "renew" thing in the mail the other day for both MM&FF and 5.0, I proceeded to rip them up and toss them in the garbage.

I love Modified....i think they looked at the current content of the other two mags and listened to people complaining about the lack of Fox coverage and took the next step. They do have a lot on the new cars....which i do like to read about, but i want BALANCE. The other mags don't have balance anymore.

Yeah it probably helps when they put your car in their mag huh?

I sub'd and liked them all before that, but yes that would've helped otherwise

There are issues I don't particularly care for or only enjoy part of it, but overall I don't care and don't complain. I figure if I liked 3-4 of them throughout the year and just bought those at the newsstand, that'd cost as much or more than my subscription anyway.

idk maybe im wrong but i found that modified mustangs has more stories about some dude who had a crazy stang rather than tech info such as testing the C4 vs a T5 like they did in MM&FF (could be wrong but im pretty sure thats it)

i mean dont get me wrong i love reading about some monstrious stroker fox that runs 10s but i also enjoy tech articles about actual fox performance, which i usually find one good one every 2-3 issues....

i do agree that modified mustangs is better those, and they have hotter girls

I agree, although i do like the newer mustangs. I love looking at other fox bodys. Somebody should come out with a mag thats focuses ONLY on the 1979-1993 era. Have you looked into Mustang enthuasist? Thats a good mag also.

Perhaps if enough people vote with their subscription, they may take a different tone about their 5.0 coverage.

we can vote on this?

I mean, lets be honest. The fox has a large fanbase, enough to support at least 1 magazine.

Any tech they have is usually full of misinformation anyway so I'm not worried about their lack of it.

I only have a subscription to modified mustangs and car craft.

yup. my 5.0 subsricption just expired, and i WILL NOT be renewing. when they feature maybe 3 5.0's in the last 2 5.0 magazines, i'm not impressed. that, plus i think the mailman steals a couple copies every year because i miss some months.....

I let all my Mustang Mags Subscriptions run out a few years ago, every so often I pick up one from the news stand. I subscribe to Hot Rod, it has pretty cool stuff in it and has Fox Stangs every now and then.

I canclled my subscription a long time ago. If you think about it, theres only like 3 or 4 mustang magazines out there. 5.0 and mmff being the biggest. They really dont need the people who complain about their not being any 5.0's. BUT I am not taking their side, it is very rude of them to post an article saying if you dont like their magazine, cancel. Shows they really care about their readers. And seriously I will be another person to add onto the "whats up with that" about their being no 5.0's in the magazines.
