CANNOT GET THE BRAKE LINES OFF!

trying to finish off the 5 lug conversion and i cannot for the life of me get the front brake lines off, im just rounding off the nut, any suggestions before i kill myself?

do you have the right wrenches? It does not sound like you do.

Better get the right tools first or you'll be rounding them all. Use the FLARED/CROWSFOOT wrenchs, don't use open end wrenches.

PB Blaster + 3 hours + vice grips = success.

Yeaaa... def get a set of those flare wrenches. They will prove themselves useful time and time again. I'm bidding on a set right now.

There is a vise-grip made for nuts. That and heat works. But, you can not use heat near anything that you'll use again (e.g. prop valve).

BTW: Living in New England, I know what it;s like to try to get fittings and nuts off. But, on a GM board, some gut in Florida was able to get a set of brake lines from a 10+ year old car off in perfect condition!
