2006 GT mustang 4.6 STD

I recently change the clutch on my stang and after the change I notice that at the time I fill the tank the pump will stops half the way and the other half I have to do it in a very short shoots, I don't know if the clutch change has something to do or whats wrong but it seems like the lines or tank have some kind of damage.

sometimes if the pump is really slow I can fill the tank at once but is very rarely

anyone knows where should I look at ??

If you search, you'll see a few fixes. Until you get to it you will likely find that if once the pump stops, flip the nozzle upside down, then pump. That works for me and others. Sometimes I have to pull it out just a touch, still leaving it upside down. Then I can finish filling up.

What did you remove to replace clutch? If you removed and EVAP system lines you may have a vapor leak somewhere.

Good point. If you have a vapor leak, you "should" have a Check Engine Light too. But if you kinked or smashed a hose or line and it doesn't vent however it needs, I doubt that would throw a CEL.

Had same problem and it corrected itself. Thinking one 'fast fill' too many moved or blocked something. I was able to 'slow fill' with the handle in the two oclock position for a few times before I was able to go back to 'slow filling' in the normal six oclock position.

It's likely unrelated to the clutch job. Flip the nozzle upside down, like RacerRaj describes, and work the trigger. It's a common problem with gen-5 Mustangs. There's a filler pipe fix, but it's expensive.
