Well, if the thread is about deciding between a V6 Mustang and a V8 Mustang then I think it is only fair to compare the two. I wasn't "knocking down" the V6, I just gave my opinion on it. I personally don't like how it looks compared to the GT and I think it is too heavy compared to how much power it produces. So I will take up your offer and pat myself on the back because it looks like my amazing powers of logic worked in helping me decide which one I prefer. I just thought that the original arguement was ridiculous.
I was in no way trying to start a pissing match. Your V6 may be perfect for your needs, but I still don't think it is better than a GT. If the V6s were better then why do people pay more for the V8? It is not a big deal but if he is even having thoughts about getting a GT then I think he would be better off getting the GT rather than risking the chance of regreting it down the road.
Bottom line, if you like performance get the GT. If you just like the way the new Mustang looks then get a V6.
