Car bleeding badly

Okay had the car out tonite......and parked it in a parking garage. About an hour and a half later I came out and there was a puddle of green fluid under the middle of the car. (Radiator fluid?) Anyways I pop the hood I have no coolant at all. I look around the radiator and there is no sign of a leak. I take a flash light and continue looking close to the firewall since that is about where they puddle is under. I find a hole in the firewall on the passanger side that this fluid is dripping out of. I turn my car on and this fluid is now condensing to steam very rapidly because it is dripping directly on the header. This steam is causing my windshield to fog up and making it extremely hard to see as I got her home.

I drove her home and she ran fine the whole way, temps seemed good and didnt really notice anything at all. The radiator is only 4 months old. The car is an auto. This hole I was talking about seems like it should have some type of tube running into it. Any ideas?????? I am twenty years old and not the most knowledgeable so I apologize if I sound ignorant.

it's your heater core. the water is building up in the heater box. it's an easy fix. good luck

heater core....The weep hole is draining the heater box. The hole is on the passengerside fire wall right by the hearder and h-pipe flange..

the green is anti-freeze. new heater core is 15$ at auto zone and 30 min to change

if the coolant is comming out of the weep hole yes there is coolant in your heater box. Do you smell something when you turn your heater on......maby have a foggy windshield on the passenger side in the morning

my entire windshield fogs up and there is a very funky smell. My defroster can not combat the fog either....makes it real dangerous.

well I live in NJ so when i do use the car yes, but I am really never home and it sits in the garage. I just looked it up and 50resto has a heater core kit for $49. Looks like I will be ordering it and sending it to the local Ford Dealership for install

pre 87 was easier because you could go through the glove box


87+ pretty well need to take the dash out....I have been told the non A/C 87+ was alot easier and could be done quick but no body seems to be able to confirm that

Mine did the same thing and I just bypassed the heater core.....been like that since last year. took less than 5 minutes to do.

why couldnt it go in the summer? Things like that always go at the wrong time.......my radiator went in the middle of the summer

I only drive mine in the summer so that's why I bypassed mine and haven't changed it yet
