i agree...i also dont like the random stuff you see behind the pony. i dont think its as noticeable if its not a black car...i would get black grille behind the pony and in lower bumper..

Naw Ray, it's the bottom opening I'm referring to. I don't like seeing the trans cooler, radiator support, etc.

BTW, what are you using for grill material in the center portion?

Did the 03/04 Cobra's come with some type of metal mesh mounted in there?

Nothing in particular. Mine came with everything from, foglights/brackets, grill pony, etc.

Yours appear to be the same. I think a combination of the sunshine and camera flash shows yours even more?

Nah, your heat exchanger is taking up the area I'm talking about.

Have you ever seen an 03' Cobra (in that area)? Is there some type of factory grill material where your HE is? That's what I'm referring to...

ah, I misunderstood your question.

As posted earlier, there are grills available for that. Or you could fab something up if you have the time.

I have the mustangworld lower grill in the bottom of my GT bumper. Its pretty subtle. I paid 10 bucks about 5 years ago. Its cheap crap really, but looks ok. You could definately make your own. I wonder if people sell chunks of generic grill material on ebay?
