car feels slow

i have an 03 gt with the flowmaster american thunder exhaust, upr o/r x pipe and the cdc shaker hood. i also have eibach springs, kyb adjustable shocks and 18x10.5 rear and 18x9 front rims. i have recently bought a 92 eclipse turbo beater and it feels like it would smoke the mustang. what can i do to get some bottom end back? please help it is killing me.

Get some 3.73s or 4.10s and a 93 oct tune. I beat a turbo nissan 240ZX before I got the 3.73s. Those cars put out 250hp and weigh in at under 3000 lbs.

the rims aren't helping much...

but some gears would put you back in the powerband where you want to be.

the wheels are noticeable on the sotp meter, but a set of 410s will cure whatever ails ya.

I think you got your answer with the gears and you don't have cats, which takes away the feeling of down low torque. I willing to bet that the turbo eclipse has gears as well.

gears are my next step along with an alumin. drive shaft and the preditor tuner. i just dont know if i want 4:10 or 3:73. thats the only thing holding me back right now... by the way the eclipse is bone stock.

X pipes are known to make less torque down low compared to an H and with out the cats your makeing that even worse. I would say put a catted H, 3.73 gears and a 93 Oct tune. It will feel like a new car.

I agree with everyone. Since there isn't any cats it looses the back pressure from a stop, but pro about it is that at W.O.T it feels great.

Sorry I didn't mean aftermarket gears in the eclipse. Do you know what gears the eclipse comes with stock? According to the owners manual my old civic si came with 4:10s stock and "feels" quick.
