While make a video of my new exhaust I noticed something that happened that has happened before where I was getting on it with some tire spin and when I shifted into second it fell on its face like the traction control was on which is wasn’t. Any idea why that is? Its at the very end of the video not that it really helps.

I recommend you bring it in to your Ford Dealer and get it checked out first, 2013 Gee T. Make sure you speak with your service manager if needed. He is in the best position to ensure a proper diagnosis, and will be able to provide available options and/or coverage for any work needed.

You can schedule an appointment online here. Let me know the outcome.

The only problem with that is if I cant reproduce it they most likely wont be able to do anything about it.

You can also speak to them about a “flight recorder” if needed, 2013 Gee T.

I have had this on the track. 1st was spinning- with Advancetrac and everything off btw- so I went to shift to second it was like it was dead.

I was fine when I got to the end of the 1/8 and slowed down. It seems like no matter how much of the traction control you turn off, it still has some control over the engine. Or possibly upgrade the slave cylinder and change out the clutch fluid with something more robust.

Almost sounded like you bounced it off of the rev limiter for a second? That'll take the wind out of your sails.

The very last pull did sound a little like the limiter. Go buy yourself an inexpensive shift light before you have folks tear into it.

If it happens with the light is on, you're dOOnItWroooong.

Yeah I was thinking that too but don't remember revving it up that high but it does sound like that in the video. Would hitting the rev limiter make it crap out when shifting though?
