Ok i know i already posted about this in the talk section but i need answers quick. My plastic POS intake broke and the dealership is wanting to charge $950 to replace it and they have no idea how to do the PI intake swap. My aunt is loaning me the money for it but there is NO WAY she'll loan me enough for the whole PI swap. My question is can i do JUST the intake? I've heard that as long as i get the romeo intake, i'll be alright. I dont understand how a ford dealship doesnt know how to do one of the most common power mods for the 96-98s.

Another question, what kind of a performance gain am i looking at with just the manifold? Will there be more pull up top?

yes there will be more pull up top, becuase of the different runner design. i've seen power gains around 10rwhp with that intake

Ok i have another question. Last night when i had it taken to the shop it was closed so i put the keys in the drop box with the envelope. On the envelope i checked the box that said "make repairs up to $500, and only more after calling me" or whatever and i signed it. They called me and i told them to go ahead and order the parts. This was at 3:30 PM today and i doubt the parts got there before they closed at 5. Now, tomorrow i wanna call the shop first thing in the morning when they open to cancel the order and have the car moved to Midway Ford where they can do the PI intake swap. My question is, will i be able to have the original order at Moses Ford canceled even though i told them to make the order? Will they give me a hard time over it? I really hope i can still cancel. Anyone know?

i can get you taken care of with it there leave the car there. i know some people there very, very well. if you need me to i can call there & see what i can get them to do. did you buy the adapter plates for the intake?
