I won't say buy or sell, as it's up to you! Its your choice. Do the math, can you get yours sold for whats it's worth (not what its worth to you!) Are you going to have car payments again? Can you afford them? What good is a newer car if when all said and done you can't afford to drive it! Just my 2 cents as a old man! BTW my daughter is getting to drive our 2001 Honda Civic! Its paid for! Which is one hell of a step up from that 73 Torino (4dr) I got as a first car many many moons ago! lol

I'd jump all over the Bullitt.. Its got 14k and well taken care of... At 123k I would be looking for something a little fresher myself...
I wouldn't test drive that Bullit...its gonna be all over when you do...its gonna be quiet, solid and should run pretty stout and then your screwed... hopefully you can sell yours and seal the deal...

I've got an offer for $6500 and he is anxious to buy...said he would even drive from GA to NJ to pick the car up when I'm done with the semester and I drive home.
My vote is based on POTENTIAL
You can basically build 351+ EFI and drop it in with a chip and go!!! The aftermarket is awesome!!!
I mean really you get a 4.6....only to talk about the dream of a expensive 5.4 swap. Heads, cams and everything else is expensive. BUT....on the other hand folks on here do 351 swaps like they change rims. Its easy!!!! You just cant get those cubes in a new mustang unless you convert to an older motor.
Now if you're not a HP junkie like me and just want a car to look nice....well i guess you can go for it. But i bought my mustang for 2 reasons....1 Its a respectable v8 car....and 2 ....i already had this pretty 383W waiting on the engine stand!!!
To me the 94-98's are the most sleek and aerodynamic of all the mustangs thus far.
If you start tinkering on that new motor you can expect parts to be damn near double price.
BTW the BULLITT i hear is only has a few bolt ons over a stock GT....

Keep your car man. To this day I wish I never would have sold my 89 GT from high school. Sure it had the porno red interior and a leaking tranny, but those were easy fixes that I made into a big deal. Bullitts are cool (I love the S197 Bullitt), but your car is too nice and you have put too much into it to get rid of it for a stock '01 Bullitt. I would only consider the sale if you can indeed get the $6500 out of it.
