Car Powers Off going 60mph!!

hey guys, i have been a member of this sit for many years. over the years i have occasionally seen some threads about this. i know because i made one of them when i first bought my car in 2002.

when i got the car, i could be driving down the highway going 50-60 (whatever) and the car would suddenly shut down. breaks and steering wheel tighten and locks up and the car just loses all power and costs. i can just turn the key and the car fires back up.

now 5 yrs ago i took it to ford and they did some computer reprogramming. it never happened again.....until today!!!!!!!!!!

i was going very fast and making a lane change. the thing does exactly what is described above. this is a serious problem that can kill someone.

4 years no problem. over the years ive seen a few other threads with this exact problem. HAS ANYONE FIGURED OUT WHAT THIS IS YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

why was this moved to talk...its a tech issue im trying to diagnosis? it needs to be in tech where people are discussing drivability issues!
