I got a problem with my mustang overheating. It's a 88 GT with a DSS 306 motor swap and a built TSI automatic trans. Its got trick flow aluminum heads, trick flow intake, msd ignition, timing set at 12, ford racing radiator, weiland waterpump, 160 thermostat, March underdrive pulleys. At slow speeds, traffic, and ideling, it gets between 210 and 250 degrees. It has a brand new thermostat, the system pressurized, and stock clutch fan. When it overheats, the upper hose gets hard. Also, i used to have a flexalite electric fan in it, but it barely helped. Does anyone have any suggestions on what is wrong, or what I can do to fix it. thank you very much in advance and sorry for the long post.
i have the answer to your problem. first, pet your doggy, then buy a 03 cobra. they dont overheat or eat ham. did i mention that i love america?
so as i was saying, you gotta take a walk in some scary woods in your underpants and then the answer will be clear to you. by the way did ii mention that i love america?
