Alright so i am setting up my car and need an intake. its a 302 with a big cam( dude i got it from sai over 300 duration and .585 lift but dont see it happening) at least big sounding and doesnt really kick untill 2500 or so. Way bigger than i wouldve gone with but now i have it. so I picked up some gt40y'
s recently (more for wieght) and have been looking at intakes. I am really not finding any used on the craig so i am looking new and need info on the FMS dual plane. everyine says this is a ebrock readge but according to amazon and summit the shipping wieght is less then the ebrock. The only article ive found that uses this manifold puts out 372 or so @6200 on the fms crate motor?

I like this intake cause its FMS and so are my heads. Also cause its american made! Please give me some experience or facts,

As a side note I am also looking into the xcelerator as I may end up with hieght issues and its the only one under 5 inches

I dont really understand, are u caoncerned with how much the intake wieghs???? If I were goin with single plan intake, which I asume u are because of the 2,500rpm power range, Id go with the victor jr, but as uve stated if ur worried bout clearance, the x-celerator wud b a good choice!!! What other mods if any do u have?

Don't waste your time with a duel plane if you have that much cam. Go with a Victor Jr, or at the absolute least if you must use a duel plane go with the Wieand Stealth. Those are about the only two carb intakes worth using IMO until you get a really nasty engine that can support a Parker Funnel Web.

Yep, im with 85 on this one, vic jr would be my choice, or funnel web when motor can support it.

Whats the complete specs on the combo? Are those cam numbers @.050?
